Street Fashion Workshops
Three day immersive workshop with models on location. T.B.A
Fashion has long been depicted in art. This workshop explores how we, using modern technologies, can create, more than ever before, imagery that depicts that personal relationship with that art that will sell product and land you work. You will be taught how to not only see the relationship of light and fashion but to develop it, in real physical terms, by working with the models in class. Fashion imagery requires the blending of your art with the products (fashion) to create something special.
We will base ourselves out of Pittsburg, PA and enjoy access to some of the cities hidden treasures, and models that know what they are doing and will give their all to create compelling imagery. Doug will be teaching multiple methods of using available light as well as artificial light to create stunning fashion imagery. During the mid day hours (4 hours/day) we will be at a meeting room where I will be teaching you how to create quality images through the use of Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Luminosity masks and various plug-ins that will make your images stand apart from the crowd.
Class is limited to 8 (eight) attendees, Minimum of 2 models per outing. So each group will be four attendees with a model . Each day we will head out at 7:00 AM for some of that beautiful moring light, shoot til 10:30 then gather again at 4:00 PM for the evening shoot. Expect that the evening shoot will run well into the evening after sunset.
